Support for mamas that are wanting a natural birth- Especially in a hospital where that seems harder to achieve.

Birth Doula Support in Spring Branch

You’ve probably spent time wondering what your birth will actually feel like.

Will you know what to do when contractions start?

Will you feel calm—or overwhelmed?

Will your husband know how to help, or feel unsure and on the sidelines?

And maybe, quietly, you’re hoping for something different…

A birth where you feel steady. Clear. Capable. Not just “getting through it,” but truly present in it.

When Birth Doesn’t Go Exactly As Planned

A lot of the moms I work with don’t have picture-perfect, textbook labors.

Some are induced.

Some labor for a long time.

Some make unexpected decisions along the way.

What matters is this:

You don’t feel lost in it.

You understand what’s happening.

You feel grounded in your choices.

And you’re not alone trying to navigate it all in the moment.

If you’ve been thinking,

“I just want to feel calm and in control when the time comes…”

You’re not alone—and it’s possible.

  • As a 1st time mom, i felt caLM and confident

As a first time mom - having Lacey as our doula was one of the best decisions my husband and I made… During labor Lacey was a steady, calm presence and knew exactly what I needed without even asking (sip of water or cold rag on my neck). She was extra supportive of my husband as well and gave him the tools he needed to feel informed with what I was going through and best ways to support me. Our whole birth experience was incredibly positive and Lacey was a big contributor to that!

  • Supported every step- even when plans changed

As first time parents, her support means SO much to us.  Our birth didn’t go exactly as originally planned - we had an induction due to a potential health issue with our baby. We also ultimately decided to get an epidural after 18 hours of labor. Lacey was supportive, reassuring, and nonjudgmental in this decision as it was a difficult choice when we originally hoped for an unmedicated birth. We truly don’t think we could have gotten through it without her. She helped us bring our 9 lb 5 oz baby into the world and stayed by my side in recovery as our baby and husband were sent to the NICU. Having someone so experienced and calm by our side made us feel safe, empowered, and fully supported.  We couldn’t have asked for a better doula.

  • Guidance when we didn't know what to expect

My husband and I are first time parents and felt so clueless going into this. Lacey helped us make our birth plan and checked in on me throughout the pregnancy. Once I started laboring at home, she coached my husband over text until we felt we needed more support. She kept me moving, applied pressure to reduce the pain, talked me through breathing and reducing tension, and made sure I kept eating and drinking water. Once we made it to the hospital, she stayed by my side and gave me reassurance when I was nervous or scared.
